Concorde and the RAF Red Arrows

1970's - G-AXDN	1970's Flight with British pre-production Concorde 01 (G-AXDN). Concorde flew with the Red Arrows in their Folland Gnat jet trainer. At this time the Concorde test programme was based at RAF Fairford and the Red Arrows at Kemble Airfield which was close by. The flight was possibly flown by John Cochrane with Dennis Ackary as flight engineer and George Wood as navigator around 1973.
1980 - G-BBGD	1980 Flight with British Manufacturers Production Concorde 202 (G-BBDG) after it had had its British Airways PR titles painted out. This was the first time Concorde flew with the RAF Red Arrows in their new BAE Systems Hawk trainer jets.
1985 Flight with G-BOAG at RIAT	1985 Flight with G-BOAG at RIAT This was a flight where Concorde G-BOAG had been the first to be given the new BA Landor Livery. They flew in formation on the both Saturday and Sunday of the Air Tattoo Picture by Tony Rogers
1985 - G-BOAG and QE2	1985 - G-BOAG and QE2 Flight with G-BOAG along with the QE2. This occured during the Sunday formation flight at the 1985 Royal international Air Tattoo.
1996 (2nd June) - G-BOAA	1996 (2nd June) Heathrow 50th Anniversary- Concorde G-BOAA.
1999 (1st July) - G-BOAE	1999 (1st July) - Scottish Parliament opening - Concorde G-BOAE. The formation flew over the Firth of Forth, Central Edinburgh, Loch Lomond and Glasgow to mark to official opening, by the Queen, of the new Scottish Pariament.
2002 (29th May) - G-BOAD	2002 (29th May) - Queen's Jubilee Flypast Rehearsal - Concorde G-BOAD. The formation also included: a C-17 Globemaster, a TriStar, Tornados, an E3 Sentry, a VC10, Jaguars, a Nimrod, Canberras, a BAe 146 and a pair of BAe125s. The fleet formed up over the north sea and then flew south of Norwich, Old Buckenham, Shropham, to the south of Watton, and south of Swaffham, adjacent to Cockley Cley and directly over RAF Marham. 2002 (4th June)	2002 (4th June) - Queen's Jubilee Flypast - Concorde G-BOAD. The formation also included: a Eurofighter (Typhoon), a C-17 Globemaster, a TriStar, Tornados, an E3 Sentry, a VC10, Jaguars, a Nimrod, Canberras, a BAe 146 and a pair of BAe125s. The fleet formed up in seperate holding patterns over the north sea and then flew over the coast line at Southwold just after 6pm and headed Overhead Ipswich, Chelmsford, Fairlop Waters Country Park and north east of Ilford before flying into Central London. At 6:25PM the flypast fleet flew down the Mall then over Buckingham Palace at a height of 1,500ft and at a speed of 280 Knots.
